The door security security kit should provide the correct installation components (such as drill bits) to mak for easy door security installation for the homeowner.

LOW COST
Many door jamb reinforcement kits cost nearly $100, but you can find high quality door security kits for as low as
Only $59.

Easy Door Security Installation

Door Devil steel door frame reinforcement is simply one of the easiest door security products to install.
It's easy as 1-2-3-4.

After successfully installing the steel unit to the surface of the door jamb,
(if desired) you can install the
Hinge reinforcement screws. The entire operation should take about 30-45 minutes.

Q: Re: Installation - What is the difference between Door Devil™ and other leading products?

Short Answer
- Door Devil™ is a "surface mount" security product, thus will save appx. 1.5 hours in installation compared to the less expensive, but more complex "sleeve"or "wrap" style products.

Detailed Answer - The Door Devil™ door security unit simply mounts to the surface of the door frame, which does not require the door frame to be dismantled, the trim/casing to be removed, or finishing nails cut. The "sleeve" or "wrap" style door security products require those steps and signifcantly increase the complexity and time required to install.

Choosing A Locksmith...

When choosing a Locksmith, you should be interested in (5) key factors:

- Bonded & Insured
- Skill
- Continuing Professional Education
- Price
- Prompt Arrival

Door Security Email

You can make this search easier by ensuring your Locksmith is a member of the Society of Professional Locksmiths. This provides an assurance that the Locksmith will hit each item on your checklist. Angie's List is helpful, but it can't provide all the information you need in making your choice. SOPL Locksmiths must be bonded and insured to become a member. In addition, these Locksmiths are provided Continuing Professional Education from the highly respected Security Technical Institute (for the Locksmith profession).

Ask your Locksmith if he/she is a member of the SOPL!
